I make a morning tea-chicory healthy drink each day and have evolved it with several ingredients I've discovered such as powdered moringa leaf and "golden milk", but the latest and really best add has been this Black Sesame Mix. It adds a nutty and creamy body that is really wonderful in taste and umami mouthfeel. I'm an instant (no pun intended!) fan.
I was intrigued by this product when I saw it on Umami Insider so I tried it. I love it! It is very flavorful with tanginess of the preserved fruit and a rich and salty underlying taste from the preservation process. A good addition to fish and chicken dishes - just a small amount spread on top or stirred in.
